ABOUT AL

Al Torreggiani is one of us – and he brings common sense to town government. He is a United States Army veteran who served four tours of duty and two tours in the Reserves, and has lived in Hyde Park with his family for over 35 years. He is all about service to Hyde Park, Dutchess County and our nation.

Leadership and accomplishment have been hallmarks of Al’s career and public service. As your Hyde Park Town Supervisor since 2022, Al has been committed to preserving the charm and prominence of Hyde Park as THE most desirable place to raise a family, and promote and retain businesses. He also served on the Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency for 14 years, offering specialized experience in a variety of areas, including labor relations.

Al’s experience in owning and operating a construction business that completes projects on time and within budget – and has 150 employees – uniquely qualifies him to scrutinize town projects and bring common sense to town government. He is an experienced, respected and successful leader, manager and neighbor who cares about Hyde Park, its residents and businesses.
